The Prophecy of God

Revealed on August 22, 2005

This is the enduring prophecy that the world has never known, FOR ALL TO COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GREAT NAME OF GOD!  It is only in our generation that the world will know about it.  Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista will explain to all people who Jesus really was; why he was sent to the people of Israel; and if he was the only one tasked to fulfill the prophecy.

When Jesus came and said that he was sent by God to fulfill his mission, men simply accepted his claim.  To date, without knowing the reason for his coming (why he was sent), no one ever asked him what his mission for God was.  Even the religions taught us regarding the coming and the ministry of Jesus, but we were not instructed about the specific work of Jesus.

What was the task given to Jesus by God?  We should know the work he set out to do, and that is the only thing we should believe in him.  What was important was the work that was to be fulfilled, not the man who was sent to do the work. 

Like Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista, he is sent to do two things: to introduce the true Name of God; and to introduce the real Jesus.  The Glory should belong to God, not to the man who was sent with a mission from God.

Let us start with: what was the mission of Jesus?

When King David wanted to build a house for the Ark of the Covenant, God had taken the opportunity to accept David's request, but it was not David who will build a house for God.  Who will?  This was the prophecy given by God to David through the prophet Nathan...

When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom.
II Samuel 7:12 (NIV)

The promise given to David: a descendant will come from his bloodline.  What will be the work of the descendant?

He is the one who will build a house for my Name,

and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.
II Samuel 7:13 (NIV)

David’s descendant was to build a house with the Name of God.  Once the house is built, the people will see the house and will eventually see the Name of God.  Being able to again call on God’s Name, leads to the breaking of the curse, that was upon God’s people.  Finally, when the curse is broken, the people may return to the true God.

But why is there a need to build a house with the Name of God, why can't just any one say the Name; is there a reason for it?

What is the reason why God’s people never knew His Name?

Then Jeremiah said to all the people, including the women, "Hear the word of the LORD, all you people of Judah in Egypt.  This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: You and your wives have shown by your actions what you promised when you said, 'We will certainly carry out the vows we made to burn incense and pour out drink offerings to the Queen of Heaven.'  "Go ahead then, do what you promised!  Keep your vows!

This made God angry with His people when they worshipped the "queen of heaven".    This is equivalent to the present-day Mary, mother of Jesus, who has the title of "queen of heaven and earth" (given by the religions), and who is still venerated to this day.

What was God's judgment on them?

But hear the word of the LORD, all Jews living in Egypt: 'I swear by my great name,' says the LORD, 'that no one from Judah living anywhere in Egypt will ever again

invoke my name or swear, "As surely as the Sovereign LORD lives."

This is the curse which God gave to His people that they may not say His Name anymore, and if God swore, will He change what he had declared?

The LORD Almighty has sworn, "Surely, as I have planned, so it will be,
and as I have purposed, so it will stand.
Isaiah 14:24 (NIV)

Why do we have to know the Name?  Why is it important for us to know the Name?

The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood

before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.
Joel 2:31 (NIV)

This is the reason why we have to know the Name of God, and Maestro Evangelista says it is also written, if people in the world will not repent and change their ways, there might be a nuclear holocaust... and who will be saved?

And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved;

for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance,

as the LORD has said, among the survivors whom the LORD calls.

So where in the Holy Bible is the prophecy that speaks of a nuclear holocaust?

This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that

fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing

on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot

in their mouths.  On that day men will be stricken by the LORD with great panic.  

Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other.  

Judah too will fight at Jerusalem.  The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected - great quantities of gold and silver and clothing.  A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.

This is what everyone should know that if ever Jerusalem is attacked, this prophecy will happen.  The world should take this prophecy seriously and take action for this event not to happen.  The nations are urged to consult with the "angel/foreigner" before it is too late.

If nations will only talk and consult among themselves in the international arena, they will never know the real cause of the problem and will never find the lasting solution to the ills of the world.  It will only lead to greater danger.

The reason why the house with the Name of God was built was for the people to see the Name on the house.  Seeing the Name, they may call on God’s Name for the curse to end.  Since God had sworn that His Name may no longer be spoken by His people, He had to let his people know His Name indirectly by building a house with His Name.  It is a way of overcoming the curse He had given, because God loves His people.  This has to happen so that they may call on His Name and be saved, when the “the great and dreadful day of the LORD” comes.

Actually, it was King David's appeal to build a house for the Name of God, but he was not allowed to build and the privilege of building the house with the Name was given to his descendant.

Let us return to the prophecy...

This is the promise given to David; a descendant will come from his bloodline.  What will be the work of the descendant?

“to build a house with the Name of God” - if the descendant is successful, his kingdom will be forever, and what else will God give to him in return?

I will be his father, and he will be my son.  When he does wrong,

I will punish him with the rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men.
II Samuel 7:14 (NIV)

"I will be his father, and he will be my son" - the descendant will be considered or be privileged to be "called" the "son of God," this is the honor or title which will be conferred on him if he succeeds, though he is just a man.

What is the condition?

Maestro Evangelista says we should remember, when God summons His prophet, He always gives a blessing and a curse; if the prophet obeys and fulfills his mission – blessing and...

...When he does wrong, I will punish him with the rod of men,

Now there is a condition given to the descendant, if he commits "wrong," which is different from sin.  When you commit sin, you did it yourself.  When you commit "wrong," it means you have made others to also commit the transgression.  It will have a heavier punishment, and…

whom I removed from before you.  Your house and your kingdom will endure

forever before me; your throne will be established forever.' "
